Established in 2017, Countryside Trees are proud to carry out all aspects of arboriculture services and vegetation management. Our clients range from large contractors, agricultural land managers to small domestic customers predominantly in Suffolk and Essex, aswell as servicing large contracts throughout the UK.

A waste carrier’s license is held and all waste is disposed of responsibly, partnering with a selection of green energy providers who use our waste products to generate sustainable energy.

Chris Gowenlock

Founded by Chris who has 8 years experience and set up the business following an 8 year career in the Army Air Corps. Chris holds all of the relevant qualifications but just to reassure you, here’s a small selection:

  • NPTC Units 201/202 – Chainsaw maintenance, crosscutting, felling and processing trees up to 380mm
  • NPTC Unit 301 – Felling and processing trees over 380mm
  • NPTC Unit 203 – Tree climbing and aerial rescue
  • NPTC Unit 204 – Use of chainsaw from a rope and harness
  • NPTC Unit 302 – Aerial tree pruning
  • Emergency first aid at work forestry

Charlie Dye

Charlie also completed an arboriculture course at Otley College, Suffolk. Charlie joined us as 2nd climber and has continued to develop his role with Countryside Trees. Charlie is one of our utility cllimbers working on the powerlines. A number of his qualifications are listed below:
